Racing Genk, voluit Koninklijke Racing Club Genk maar in het kort KRC Genk of Racing Genk, begint het seizoen op 27 juli met een uitwedstrijd bij RWDM. Beide clubs zullen er alles aan doen om de eerste drie punten binnen te halen. Dat wordt dus direct hard tegen hard. De reguliere seizoensafsluiting is op 16 maart uit tegen Westerlo.
