Number 1 Tickets & Travel BV – hereafter referred to as Number 1 – understands and respects the importance of your privacy. Therefore, we will always protect your personal data.

We handle your data carefully and pay via a secure connection. Privacy is just as important to us as it is to you. You can find more information about it in our privacy policy. This Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us, in respect of your relationship with us as a customer or a potential customer. This information may be collected via our website, our questionnaires/surveys or our social media channels.

How long we retain your personal data:
Number1 retains your personal data as long as you our registered to use our services and/or as long as is permitted or required under applicable laws. We will never retain your personal data if not necessary.

Who your personal data is shared with:
We work with several companies. Some of the personal data you provide will need to be given to and processed en stored by relevant third parties. Some of these parties may be based outside of the EU. We will only provide your personal data to third parties if completely necessary to arrange the travel and other services you are requesting and to meeting our legal obligations (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

Number1 considers your personal data to be a vital part of our relationship with you. Therefore, we will not sell your personal data to third parties and we only work with third parties with jurisdictions inside the EEA.

How we secure your personal data:
Number 1 protects your online personal data to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access, disclosure and destruction. Therefore, we are using the SSL-certificates to allow computer systems to encrypt your information, turning it into unintelligible strings of characters. Only the certificate owner can decipher the information.

Cookies
Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. You can decline and delete cookies by changing your browser settings. Please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use every Site or Application feature on the website.

Number 1’s website uses functional cookies, analytic cookies and tracking cookies. These cookies are used for applications such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hotjas, Facebook and Marketing Automation.

Number 1 uses Google Analytics to generate detailed statistics. These statistics show our website’s traffic and traffic sources. Google Analytics also measures conversions and sales. In our agreement with Google your personal data is protected: we do not allow Google to use your data for other Google services. Moreover, Google will anonymize your IP address.

Declining and removing cookies
When visiting our website for the first time, you have the right to decide whether to accept or decline cookies. Removing our cookies in Chrome:
Go to the Chrome menu icon in the upper right corner and click ‘Settings’. Click “Show advanced settings” at the bottom. In the “Privacy” section, click “Content settings” button. To delete all cookies, click “Remove all”.

Removing our cookies in Firefox:
(Mozilla Firefox on Windows) Click on the menu button in the upper right corner. Select ‘Options’ In the “Privacy” section, click on “Clear your recent history”. From the drop-down menu next to “Time range to clear”, select “Everything” and then click on “Clear Now”.

Removing our cookies in Internet Explorer:
Click on the Tools icon in the upper right corner and select “Internet Options”. Click on the General tab and then click on “Delete”. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favourites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies. Then Click “Delete”.

Removing our cookies in Microsoft Edge:
Click on the menu button in the upper right corner and click on “Settings”. Under “Clear browsing data”, select “Choose what to clear”. Select the box next to each data type you would like to clear, and then select “Clear”.

Contact form
By filling in our contact form on the website you can always ask a question or request a quote. If you do so, we will receive your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. We need this information to adequately follow up on your question or request. Moreover, we will receive your IP address, in order to avoid any misuse of the contact form such as spam.

Newsletter
Now and then we send our customers a (digital) newsletter, to inform you about our product, services and new developments. Your name and e-mail address are confidential and will only be added to our system with your consent. Every newsletter/e-mail contains a simple option to unsubscribe, by clicking on the link below.

View, amend or delete your personal data
At any time, you can request access to your information in our database. You can also have your information amended or even deleted. Moreover, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data - free of charge. You can also withdraw your permission for the use of your personal data.

When you request access to your personal information in our database, we ask you to send a copy of your passport to confirm that the request is truly yours. When you do so, please note to block off your personal data on your passport, such as your passport number and the machine readable zone, for the protection of privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, within a maximum of 4 weeks.

Amendments
Number 1 reserves the right to update or alter our Privacy Policy from time to time. We therefore advise you to acquaint yourself regularly with this Privacy Policy and to look at the date to see if any amendments have been recently made.
